"Edris” is a vibrant, energetic piece painted in hues of peach, teal and blue-violet, accented with white and gold. It’s a vibrant mixed media piece on watercolor board.

Artist’s Inspiration:

This painting is named for my Tia, Edris. She left this world this week and I loved her. She was forever the strength that held our family together, so I pay homage to her with circles creating the infinity symbol, as she will always be loved and remembered.

It is my sincere hope that this piece will resonate with you in the same manner, as it will be my sincere honor if it does.

Don’t worry, I’ve painted a few in her honor this week, so I’m happy to share this one with someone who can, and will appreciate the symbolism as much as I do.

Recommendation for Hanging:

“Edris” is lovely enough to stand on its own or be paired with a beautiful neutral like “Pure” - 16th Street Collection. It is being sold mounted and framed inside of a beautiful shadow box; it will be shipped ready to hang.

If you choose to change the frame, please note that all paintings created on artist paper or artist’s panels must hang inside of a picture frame; they cannot hang independent of a frame. Papers or panels can hang either in an open or closed frame, with or without a mat board. Please consult your local professional framer to determine the best way to re-hang the image.
